After a weekend of intense training with a group of like-minded folk, you board the Cesna Caravan and start your climb to 3,500 feet. You will be using a “static-line” parachute which opens automatically when you leave the aircraft. You Jump! You feel like nothing on earth – literally! Your parachute opens and you look up into the beautiful big square canopy that you fly – solo- through the open skies. Listening to your instructors advice through the radio helmet, you steer your parachute safely back and land softly on dropzone where you will become part of an elite group of individuals to say they have done a solo parachute jump.
“After my parachute jump, I realized that there was nothing I couldn’t do” Nigel Rooks, March 2012
