Following a meeting with the CAA in December it was found that the impact to the DZ operation should be minimal with the worst affected period likely to be during the opening ceremony (24-27 July). This is midweek so will be manageable. At other times throughout the Olympics (16/7-10/8) there will be a requirement for the pilots to obtain clearance from ATC whilst in the controlled airspace. The pilots and DZ will be fully briefed and it is not expected to disrupt our operation greatly. |

The DZ will relocate during the period hopefully to Middle Wallop Airfield. The dates may shift slightly, we will know more nearer the time. |
