The annual caravan fee of £237.98 is again due for payment covering the period 1 April 2012 to 31 March 2013. Any owner that does not wish to pay, please remove your caravan at the very earliest opportunity. Payment can be made by credit/debit card, cheque or cash to the APA office.

Calling all AFF Students!If you are planning on coming to the DZ at the weekend to continue your AFF training, please try to always give us a call or send an email to coursesmanager@netheravon.com to let us know. We want to make sure we have enough instructors available at the weekends to jump with everyone who turns up. If you don’t manage to book in advance with us we will still endeavour to help you, but priority will be given to those who do.

Please can dog owners adhere to MOD Policy in that they are: 1.Registered with the Netheravon Station Guardroom 2.Kept on a lead at all times. 3.Must not enter the packing hall area. 4. Must not enter the canteen area. 5. Doggie pooh is disposed of in a hygienic manner. Many thanks for your co-operation!

There will be a vacancy for a Military RAPS Instructor in Cyprus from Sept 2012. Applicants must have CSI Rating and be a Sub Cpl. POC is the JSPC Comdt (Maj Molloy - 94321 8245)

In order to ensure the smooth running of the weekend operation, APA instructor, reception, tandem, manifest and DZ control staff please note the following:

All weekend DZ staff (instructors, DZ Ctrl, manifest and reception) are to attend the morning coord meeting with either Mike Smith or Rob Camps to discuss the daily jump programme. This will take place at 0815 in the main APA office and should take nomore then 5 minutes. Many thanks for your co-operation!

In order to ensure the smooth running of the jump programme for RAPS students, please take note of the following change:

All RAPS & Static Line Students are to be ready for refresher training at 0830 on both Sat & Sun mornings. If this time cannot be made, the next refresh will be approx 1200 subject to availability by the Duty Instructor. It is strongly recommended that you be there for the morning refresh!!

A Suggestions/Feedback folder will be held in the weekend reception that is for the use of all APA jumpers. Any comments (positive or negative) from the weekend activity that are entered into the folder will be discussed and reviewed. This facility is for the good and benefit of the club and therefore should not be abused.

There has been numerous occasions where fire fighting equipment has been tampered with, both in the main hanger and the bunkhouse. While this may seem like a laugh to some, it is an offense to misuse an extinguisher under the Health & Safety at Work Actwith criminal prosecution being a sanction. Anyone caught tampering with life saving equipment is likey to receive an indefinate ban from the APA. You wouldn't tamper with an AAD so why is a fire extinguisher any different?
